Shipping & delivery

Shipping & delivery fees are not included into the purchase price of any pieces(s) listed for sale. We have custom shipping quotes; the costs will depend on the weight of the pieces and destination of the delivery.

In case of unforeseen accidents that make delivery impossible, the delay can be justified, in which case it will be considered the duty.

 

Order processing time

The average time of the production of the piece(s) may take up to 4-6 weeks, taking into consideration that the wood used takes time to find and our process is 100% manual and artisanal. Once the piece is finished, it will be shipped directly to the buyer.  

 

When will my order be processed?

Considering the limited number of pieces, the shipping date will depend on the type of product selected and the exact date as to when the order is placed and confirmed.

All our pieces are handled and shipped from our studio in Spain. We process orders from Monday through Friday. We do not ship on weekends, holidays, or specified dates.

Once the order has been shipped, we will send the purchase confirmation.

Our shipments will be sent through DHL, FedEx, or UPS depending on the country of delivery.

 

Taxes & customs

On our website, the currency available for payment is the Euro. If there are customs in your country, you may have to pay the duties and/or taxes once you receive your order or when it arrives at its final destination. This situation is determined by the local customs office. Very Wood Ideas is not responsible for the payment of these charges and taxes. We are also not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country. For more details on charges, please contact your local customs office.

 

Damaged orders

If you believe there’s an issue with your Very Wood Ideas piece, we are here to help you resolve the situation as quickly as possible!

Before shipping a piece, we take detailed photos of the products and packaging for evidence if there may be a future issue. If a piece arrives damaged, the delivery company oversees the costs. All deliveries are carefully blanket wrapped and insured for their full value.

 

How to handle returns and cancellations

As soon as an order is confirmed by both Very Wood Ideas and the buyer, the full amount will be paid to begin the production. If the order is canceled within the first 10 days of purchase, a 50% of the total will be returned to the buyer. After 10 days, the cost will not be reimbursed.

If the piece is returned due to a defect that is not considered a natural flaw, i.e., incorrect type of wood or design, the return will be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
